Below Right; A letter written by Dwight D. Eisenhower to the French forces just before Operation Torch. i.e. the landing on French North Africa. Some of the French forces were still fighting for The Vichy Regime who were loyal to Nazi Germany at that point.The leaflet was to convince the French to come over to the Allies which was successful.
